Huh. That's interesting... Almost as though he had to fight something back after the voice not unlike Aodan piped up...
For a while, my theory was that Maoh just made the 'Cole' and 'Charlie' identities more distinct, and gave the latter greater (or perhaps growing) dominance. It's not rules out, but I'm now considering Maoh might have made the 'Charlie' persona (the part that's 'enjoying the ride' ) even more enjoyable to 'slip into' or indulge, and perhaps easier to do. And, since the little guy has rarely looked as gleeful as when introducing himself as Charlie or making the Beedrill swarm go snap, crackle and pop...
I'm looking forward to any introspection that's to come after this little episode. Even more than I already was.
Also, I've been less than awesome about reading discussion in the comments (especially since they're usually pretty interesting), so sorry if I've just restated a theory that's come up many a time already.
Actually not alot of people really discuss anything XD It's rather hard for me to not comment on theories as I'm afraid I'll let some things slip that I shouldn't. But I'm always glad to hear them.
So... are the two outside-panel non-bracketed sentences both supposed to be his inner monologue? The first one sounds more like Aodan's diction, but last I checked he spoke Pokemon. :P
